You can apply for the National Defence Academy NDA if you are currently studying in 12th grade. The NDA entrance exam is open to candidates who have completed or are appearing in the 12th class or equivalent examination.The fee to fill the NDA exam is INR 100 for general/ OBC category. However, there is no fees required for SC/ST or female candidates. The minimum qualifying mark for the NDA written exam in every subject and the overall aggregate should be at least 25%. Students scoring the minimum marks and more will be able to make it to the merit list only. The NDA exam is administered twice a year by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) to select male and female applicants for admission to the Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC) and its Army, Navy, and Air Force branches. Two steps make up the NDA selection process: a written exam and an SSB interview. It is initially necessary for all registered applicants to show up for the written test. Candidates are chosen for the SSB interview for the personality and IQ test based on how well they performed on the written exam. The Indian Naval Academy determines the final candidate pool for the NDA and 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme based on the number of openings, eligibility, medical suitability, and merit-cum-preference of applicants.
