It's a nice and a very useful books for the aspirants. The Pathfinder covers all the syllabus that you need for your NDA Entrance Exam and has a lot of sample questions and previous year question papers and all the resources you will need to clear the NDA Entrance Exam. So, it would be better if you stick with the Pathfinder. If this helpful, So please upvotes !

The difficulty level of NDA Maths paper is usually moderate while GAT was easy. The English Language paper of NDA is usually easy where questions are asked on grammar, vocabulary, and comprehension. The General Awareness section of NDA is moderate. Candidates need to keep themselves updated with the latest events in India and the world. NDA is the joint training institute for all three services-Army, Navy and Air Force. After joining the NDA cadet undergo training for three years. After graduating from NDA candidates are sent to their respective training academies for one year of training before commissioning. Army cadets are sent to the Indian Military Academy (Dehradun), naval cadets to the Indian Naval Academy (Ezhimala), and Air Force cadets to the Air Force Academy (Dundigal, Hyderabad).

Yes, there is an age limit for appearing in NDA exam. Candidates need to be between 16.5 and 19.5 years. For NDA 1 exam, both male and female candidates must have been born not earlier than July 2, 2004, and not later than July 1, 2007. For NDA 2 exam, both male and female candidates must have been born not earlier than January 2, 2004, and not later than January 1, 2007.

The prescribed education qualification for NDA exam is Class 12. The branch-wise NDA eligibility criteria is given below:
Army Wing of National Defence Academy: Passed Class 12/HSC or equivalent from a recognised board or university
Air Force, Navy, and Naval Academy of National Defence Academy: Passed Class 12/HSC with Physics Chemistry and Mathematics.

The NDA exam consists of questions that are of Class 10, 11, and 12 standards. If you follow the NCERT books thoroughly and grasp all the concepts mentioned in the books, you will not need any other reference books. For the NDA Maths section, you can prepare topics such as Algebra, Calculus, Determinants, Differential Equations, Trigonometry, Vector, Algebra, Statistics, and Probability. The GAT paper of NDA is divided into two parts. Part A comprises questions from English while Part B carries questions from General Knowledge. The syllabus for English comprises Grammar and Usage, Vocabulary, Comprehension and Cohesion. Candidates can prepare the English section by reading newspapers.
