The Supreme Court of India on August 18 has passed an interim order allowing women to appear for National Defence Academy or NDA exam. Now women candidates can take admission to the Army, Navy, and Air Force wings of National Defence Academy and Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC) in Naval Academy. It is now expected that the UPSC will soon release an update regarding the same on its official website. The aspiring female candidates for NDA Exam are advised to stay tuned to the official websites for more updates. UPSC prescribes NDA eligibility criteria along with the notification. According to the eligibility criteria of NDA unmarried male and female candidates who have completed their Class 12 or equivalent examination can apply for the exam. NDA eligibility criteria include nationality, age limit, educational qualification, and physical standards which candidates need to fulfil in order to be eligible for the exam.
