Suppose you have been allotted a college in round 1, either go and take admission in that college or don't. In both ways you are eligible for round 2. If you take admission and also want to participate in round 2 for upgradation, you have to tick for that option. Now in round 2, it's not automatic upgradation. You have to fill choices again in the order you want. If college has been upgraded, just go to previous college, withdraw admission and take admission in upgraded one or if college is not been upgraded, then you have already admission in previously allotted college.
