NEET 2024 counselling Round 7 provisional result was declared on December 24, 2024, and the final result was declared on December 25, 2024.NEET 2024 counslling Round 6 provisional and final results were declared on December 12 and December 13, 2024, respectively. NEET 2024 counselling Round 5 provisional result was declared on November 22, 2024, followed by the final result on November 23, 2024.The Round 4 provisional result was declared on October 29, 2024, and the final result has been declared on October 30, 2024. Round 3 result was declared on October 12. Round 2 provisional result was declared on September 19, 2024, and the final result was declared on September 20, 2024. The Round 1 final result was declared on August 25, 2024. The second or revised provisional result was declared on August 24 and the original NEET 2024 counselling Round 1 provisional result was declared on August 23. NEET 2024 counselling result date will vary for each round. Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), the counselling authority of the exam released the NEET UG counselling 2024 result date for each round. However, in case additional rounds are conducted, then the result date will be announced later. The dates for declaring the NEET state counselling results are different than that of the NEET UG counselling result dates. 

The total duration of NEET counselling depends on the number of seats lying vacant at the end of the each round. Before each round of counselling, Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) releases the seat matrix or seat vacancy list. Once all the seats are filled, the counselling process of NEET will be considered complete. In general, the NEET UG counselling process ranges from two to three months. The duration of each round is around two to three weeks. The duration for the first two rounds is higher than that of the last two rounds. The last date may get extended based on the seat vacancy. The NEET 2024 counselling duration was originally scheduled from August 14 to November 5, 2024, after which the Special Round is scheduled from November 20 to November 30, 2024.

DMER Chennai has allowed free exit only after Round-I of Tamil Nadu NEET PG counselling. Candidates who participate in the Round-2, mop-up round, and stray vacancy round are not allowed to make a free exit. If thet do not join the allotted institite, their Registration fee, security deposit and tuition fees will be forfeited by the counselling conducting body. In case they decide to discountinue the joining at the allotted seat of round 2, mop-up round, or stray vacancy round then the discontinuation fees will be INR10 Lacs for Diploma and INR 15 Lacs for PG degree along with forfeiture of Registration fee, security deposit,  and tuition fees. 

If you have already taken admission to the course and college allotted to you in the Assam NEET counselling 2023 Round 2, you will not be eligible to participate in the third round of the state counselling. However, if you have not reported to the allotted institute, or have exited the seat with forfeiture of the security deposit, or have applied for seat upgradation, then only you will be eligible to participate in the Assam NEET counselling Round 3. The Directorate of Medical Education (DME) Assam has concluded the first two rounds of Assam NEET counselling 2023 so far. The dates for the Round 3 counselling of Assam has been released by DME, which are scheduled between September 12 and September 21. In general, there are three rounds of counselling for the MBBS and BDS admission for Assam. Additional rounds such as mop-up round or spot counselling round is conducted based on the number of vacant seats after the stipulated rounds of counselling. 

MCC declared NEET PG 2023 counselling round 3 provisional result on September 27. It must be noted this is provisional result and final one will be declared shortly. Earlier, NEET PG 2023 cut off was reduced to zero to make more candidates eligible for round-3 seat allotment. Registration for round 3 counselling could be done from September 22 to September 25. Choices had to be declared till September 27. Candidates allotted seats in round-3 counselling will have to upload documents online. They also have to report physically to the allotted institute for document verification and to complete other admission formalities. The reporting deadline for round-3 counselling is October 6.
