As per the reservation criteria of the Tripura NEET counselling, there is 15 per cent and 30 per cent reservation for the Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) categories. However, there is no reservation for the Other Backward Clsses (OBC) category in the Tripura NEET counselling process.

The Tripura NEET counselling registration fee varies for each category. The following table brings the category-wise registration fee.CategoryRegistration Fee in INRGeneral, OBC-NCL (State Domicile)2,500General-EWS – OBC-NCL (Non Domicile)2,000SC, ST, PwD, Transgender1,800As compared to last year, the application fee has increased for each category. The fee has to be paid in online mode only, through Credit Card, Debit Card or Net Banking modes.

If a candidate has already taken admission to a medical college either through the All India NEET Counselling conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) or through any other State Counselling for NEET, he/she will not be allowed in the Tripura NEET counselling. In fact, the candidate will not be eligible to participate in the further rounds of that particular state or national level counselling as well. This is done to ensure that a single candidate does not occupy multiple seats and all aspirants get a fair chance of admission.

Tripura NEET counselling is conducted by the Directorate of Medical Education (DME) Tripura. The state counselling authority for Tripura conducts the admission process for various medical and paramedical courses offered in the state under the 85 per cent State Quota seats. Candidates who qualify for the NEET exam are eligible to participate in this state counselling.

The official website to refer for the Tripura NEET UG counselling is that of the DME Tripura. The URL or the link of the Tripura NEET counselling website is dme.tripura.gov.in. Eligible candidates willing to participate in the Maharashtra NEET PG counselling process will have to fill and lock the choice of seats based on the seat matrix. If a candidate fulfills the cutoff or admission criteria of the institute of their choice, they will be allotted the seats by the Maharashtra NEET PG counselling authority, DTE Maharashtra. The factors which are considered for the seat allotment are cutoff and availability of seats. In case a candidate is not satisfied with the allotted seat, he or she can opt for seat upgradation.
