The National Eligibility and Entrance Test (NEET) is the sole entrance test for admission to MBBS and BDS courses in India and is conducted by the national testing agency (NTA). To be eligible, a candidate must have a 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English as core subjects from a recognised board. You must have a 10+2 or equivalent certification from a recognised board, with Physics Chemistry Biology/Biotechnology, and English as core courses. Aspirants with a Class 12 qualification or equivalent are also eligible to apply for NEET. Candidates must be 17 years old as of December 31, 2023.

Yes, if you appear for NIOS and clear the exam with Biology as your subject you will be eligible for appearing in NEET 2023.

Hi Rajib, The eligibility criteria of NEET is 50% marks in Aggregate of Physics Chemistry and Biology. There is no minimum marks of optional subject is required but you should have passed your optional subjects in 10+2. So To be eligible for NEET exam you have to pass the 10+2 exam overall including Maths.

Hello Aspirant !
As you have mentioned that you have scored 120 in the NEET and belong to SC Caste. You won't be eligible for the government seat in any category like MBBS BDS B.A.M.S or VETERNARY. But you may be having the chance to get seat in the private college for B.A. M.S. All the best for your future.
