Candidates should have passed the qualifying exam equivalent to 10+2 Higher Secondary Examination after a period of 12 years of study, the last two years of study comprising of Physics, Chemistry and Biology with English. A candidate for admission to medical course must have 60%* marks at +2 level in each of Physics, Chemistry and Biology (or Botany and Zoology taken together) and have an aggregate of 140/200 in these subjects, both at qualifying and competitive examinations and should have passed in English. BHMS or Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery is an undergraduate academic degree course which covers medical knowledge of the homoeopathic system. BHMS course is of 5-year duration which includes an internship. The course can be pursued after completion of 10+2 level of education with 50% marks in aggregate.

Not just the 12th standard qualifiers but the candidates who have different qualifying degrees may also appear in the exam. As listed in the official pdf, there will be several codes to present the NEET Eligibility Marks 2018 for various qualifications.
