No, all the sections in the NEET PG exam do not have the same marking scheme. Here's a breakdown of the marking pattern:1. Total MarksThe NEET PG exam consists of 200 multiple-choice questions (MCQs).Each question carries 4 marks for a correct answer.So, the total possible marks in the exam are 800 marks.2. Negative MarkingFor every incorrect answer, 1 mark is deducted as negative marking.There is no penalty for unanswered questions.3. Negative marking will reduce the overall score and in turn overall ranking of candidate in NEET PG exam. For an example, out of 160 attempted questions, if candidate has 20 negative marking his/her overall mark will be 540. Had he/she left the question which he/she unsured about, score would be 560. Experts advise to leave those questions which you don't feel confident of right answer.

NBE releases NEET PG pattern along with the official information brochure. The exam pattern comprises the structure of the exam, number of questions, language options, exam duration, and the marking system. The mode of the examination is online. The medium of the examination is in English (only). The duration of the examination is 3.5 hours. The total marks awarded will be 800 and the total number of questions is 200. The nature  of questions is Multiple-choice questions. The question paper is divided into three sections. NBE doesn't release subject wise weightage for NEET PG officially. No. Marks are not deducted for unanswered questions in NEET PG. A total of 200 multiple choice questions are asked in NEET PG exam. For every incorrect answer, -1 mark is deducted in the exam. NEET PG 2025 may or may not be held as it will be replaced by NExT.

The NEET PG syllabus is prepared by the National Medical Commission but it's released by the National Board of Examinations (NBE).NMC is the regulatory body that oversees medical education in India. They establish the guidelines and broad framework for the NEET PG syllabus.NBE is the autonomous body that conducts the NEET PG exam. They develop the NEET PG information brochure, which includes the detailed subject-wise topics based on the NMC's guidelines.

Topics like Surgury, Optho and Gyneacology had most number of questions. Over half of the questions had a clinical basic. A total of 160-170 questions were considered good attempt. It is recommended that candidates thoroughly prepare for the clinical portion to get good rank in NEET PG exam.

No, candidates should answer only those questions where they feel confident about the right answer. The reason being there is a provision of negative marking in the NEET PG 2024 exam. Candidates are advised to choose not to answer rather than marking wrong option. Negative score may take a toll on overall score of a candidate.

No. There is no option of any other language other than English. According to the existing NEET PG pattern, the exam is conducted in English language only. While NEET exam is conducted in 13 languages, NEET PG is conducted in only one language. NBE releases exam pattern along with the official information brochure. According to existing exam pattern, the exam is conducted in computer-based mode. Total 200 multiple choice questions are asked of 800 marks. Total allotted time for the question paper is 3.5 hours.

No. Unlike NEET, NBE conducts NEET PG exam in computer-based mode. NEET PG pattern is declared by NBE along with the official information brochure. NEET PG pattern comprises details regarding mode and medium of exam, total number of questions, allotted time and marking scheme. As per the existing pattern, total 200 multiple choice questions are asked in NEET PG exam and candidates are provided 3.5 hours to answer them. Medium of the question paper is English only. There is no option to choose the language of the question paper. For every right answer, 4 marks is awarded and negative response -1 is deducted.

No. NEET PG 2025 pattern has not been released yet. The pattern and other crucial details related to NEET PG 2025 exam is released along with the official information brochure. NEET PG 2025 is expected to be held in June. NBE, the exam conducting body will release information brochure containing NEET PG 2025 pattern. The exam pattern carries crucial details such as mode and medium, total of questions, allotted time, and marking scheme. Candidates will have to register online to submit application form for NEET PG 2025.
