Once your application is submitted, you cannot alter the information. A wrong percentage could lead to issues with your counseling. Since the percentage marks play a crucial role in determining eligibility and exam rank, entering an inaccurate final year percentage on the NEET PG application could potentially pose issues during counseling. If your total % is accurate, though, there may be a chance to fix the error during the verification procedure. Moreover, Colleges can provide you the option to rectify your mistakes during counseling.

The qualifying/ cutoff percentile for NEET PG can be lowered if there are not enough candidates for the counselling process. Such decisions will be taken in consultation with the Medical Council of India and will be informed to the test-takers via an official notification. Last year, MCC had reduced NEET PG cut off percentile to zero for all category for stray vacancy round counselling. Reduction of NEET PG cut off depends on many factors including number of vacant seats to be filled up.
