No, up-gradation is not allowed once a candidate accepts the seat allotted in round 2 NEET PG 2024 counselling and joins the institute. Upgradation is only allowed in round-1 when candidates who have opted for upgradation after participation in the next round of NEET PG 2024 counselling. Candidates have to register on the official website and declare choices for seat allotment. Total 4 rounds of NEET PG 2024 counselling will be held for seat allotment.

Candidates can take a printout of the choices filled by them by clicking on "Print Lock Choice" available on the left-hand side of the page. This option will available to the candidates after the specified time of the last date of choice locking. It must be noted candidates can declare n number of choices for seat allotment. Candidates are advised to lock the choices otherwise it will be locked automatically after the due date and no change can be done after the same. Seats will be allotted based on the choices declared, seats availability in particular course and college, and other factors.

The counselling of NEET PG is an online process. Thus, candidates need not to go anywhere for the counselling process. However, candidates do need to report to the institute allocated to them for confirmation of their admission. NEET PG 2023 qualified candidates will have to register on the official website, mcc. nic. in to participate in the counselling process. They also have to declare choice for college and course for seat allotment. After seat allotment, candidates will have to report to particular institute for document verification. Candidates have to register online to submit application form for NEET PG 2024. As per the existing NEET PG pattern, the question paper comprises 200 multiple choice questions and candidates get 3.5 hours to answer them.

NEET PG 2023 cut off for general category is 291. The cut off is the minimum marks to be scored to qualify for the exam in that particular category. NBE declared NEET PG 2023 cut off along with the result on March 14. Those who scored less than the cut off marks will not be eligible for the counselling process. The counselling is held for seat allotment.

NEET PG 2023 scorecard was released online on March 26. The scorecard could be downloaded from the official website. Candidates had to login with application ID and password to download NEET PG 2023 score card. The scorecard contains details such as roll number, total marks scored, All India Rank, total right and wrong answers, category etc. NBE had declared NEET PG 2023 result on March 14.

15 AIIMS including AIIMS New Delhi, PGIMER Chandigarh, JIPMER, Puducherry, NIMHANS Bengaluru, SGPGI Lucknow, and Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology, Trivandrum do not accept NEET PG scores. A separate exam is conducted for admission at these institutes, i.e INI CET. The exam is conducted twice in a year in computer-based mode.

Candidates will have to download NEET PG 2024 scorecard for 50% AIQ seats from the official website. The scorecards were released on September 10, 2024. They have to provide login details to download the scorecard. Only those qualify exam by scoring the minimum cut off could download individual scorecard. The scorecard contains details such as roll number of candidate, score, All India Rank, category rank, number of correct answers and incorrect onesetc. The scorecard is needed at various stages of admission process including seat allotment.
