NEET PG

NEET PG is a competitive exam for postgraduate medical courses in India. The exam does not allocate specific branches or colleges to candidates based on their marks or rank. Instead, candidates are ranked according to their NEET PG score, and they can apply for counseling and choose the branch and college based on their rank and availability of seats. The counseling for NEET PG is conducted by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) on behalf of the Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) for admission to MD/MS/PG Diploma courses in government and private medical colleges in India. During the counseling process, candidates can select their preferred branches and colleges based on their NEET PG score and the availability of seats. The seats are allotted based on the candidate's rank and choices filled during counseling. Therefore, it is not possible to determine which branch and college a candidate with 500 marks in the general quota will get without knowing their rank and the availability of seats during counseling. The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate NEET PG is a national level medical entrance exam for admission to various postgraduate medical courses in India. The exam is typically held in January and the results are announced in January/February. The National Board of Examinations NBE which conducts the NEET PG exam, has certain eligibility criteria that candidates must meet in order to take the exam. One of the eligibility criteria is that the candidate must have completed their internship by the date of the exam. So, if your internship is not over yet, you will not be able to give the NEET PG exam this year. However, you can appear for the next year's examination if you fulfill the eligibility criteria by then.
