The cutoff for NEET PG 2020 can be revised if the number of candidates eligible for the counselling process is not enough. However, if the NEET PG 2020 cutoff is revised, it will be intimated to the candidates via an official notification.

Candidates have to obtained minimum of 50% percentile (40% percentile for SC/ST/OBC/SCPH/ST-PH/OBC-PH candidates) in order be eligible for admission. Lower percentile criteria for PwD candidates (locomotory disability of lower limbs) is 45%. .

There are 50% seats (approximately) allocated to the general category, so on calculating it comes around 28,000 to 30,000.

Candidate who is likely to complete the internship on or before March 31, 2020 can apply for NEET PG. Registration and /or appearance in NEET PG 2020 does not make aspirants eligible for admission at medical institute /college for MD/MS or PG Diploma Courses.

Under the reservation criteria for NEET 2019, the certificate for the PwD candidate must be issued from either one of the following:15% of these seats are reserved for Scheduled Castes, 7.5% for Scheduled Tribes, and 27% for OBC candidates.

VMMC presently has a better PG seats to UG seats ratio (in SJH, PGIMER RML, ESI, Hindu Rao). By taking UCMS you will although be eligible for MAMC, LHMC and of course UCMS. By taking VMMC you can not apply for above institutes (MAMC, LHMC, UCMS) and vice versa.
