As it is the National Testing Agency that conducts the NEET, it is NTA that will declare the result date for admission into Pt. Bhagwat Dayal Sharma Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences at Rohtak, Haryana. As a rule, NEET results usually take 3-4 weeks from dates scheduled by the NEET exam and usually fall within May. It is also declared on its official NTA NEET website. Counseling and seat allocation starts on the declaration day of NEET results after getting rank by the candidate. There wasn't one, but two toppers in NEET 2023 exam. Both Prabhanjan J. from Tamil Nadu and Bora Varun Chakravarthi from Andhra Pradesh secured a perfect score of 720 out of 720, achieving an incredible 99.999901 percentile. They aced all sections of the exam – Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. The National Testing Agency (NTA) declared the results in June 2023, and both of them secured the prestigious All India Rank (AIR) 1 position.

The Haryana NEET counselling 2024 seat allotment result for Round 1 was declared on August 27, 2024. The seat allotment result will be out for each round approximately five to six days after the beginning of the counselling process. At first, the provisional seat allotment result will be declared, and candidates will be given the chance to raise grievances against the allotment. After one or two days, the final result will be declared. The round-wise Haryana NEET counselling 2024 seat allotment result will be mentioned as and when they are declared by the officials.

Once the seat allotment result of NEET SS counselling is declared, candidates have to check it online. They have to visit the MCC website and click on the link indicating the Round 1 or Round 2 or Mop-up Round result. A PDF file will open, wherein candidates have to find their NEET SS counselling allotted seats. A percentile refers to the comparison between the score of one candidate vis-a-vis the other test takers. It is the percentage of scores that a particular score surpassed. NTA has stated the formula to calculate the NEET percentile, which is given below:100 multiplied by the Number of candidates with their raw score equal to/ less than the candidate divided by the Total number of candidates who appeared for NEET. As per the NEET 2023 result data, the highest percentile obtained was 99.9999019.

The marking scheme for NEET has been stated by the National Testing Agency (NTA). It is expected that the marking scheme will remain the same for the next year's NEET as well. Four marks is awarded for each correct answer and one mark is deducted for each wrong answer.
