Yes, you can get into a private medical college but for government, I think you need to score more. All the best.

I must apologise! But hold onto your optimism. The likelihood of obtaining a medical seat in a government medical college with a score of 237 is quite low. However, there is still a potential that you will get admitted to a private medical school. For a seat in the State Quota, you must score at least 450; for a place in the All India Quota, you must score at least 500. It is a little harder with 230. Having said that, this is based on data from 2021; and cutoffs vary annually. 4. SC category cut off: 554
5. ST category cut off: 524
As you can SEE from this data, you can get admission to AIIMS Madurai if you belong to the SC or ST quota. Also, generally, to get admission to AIIMS one needs to score higher than 600.
