To become eligible for B.Sc. Nursing through NEET, the candidate may need to pass the exam with different aggregate percentage based on category and the institute of one's preference. Candidates belonging to the general category have to obtain between 450 to 550 marks in order to secure themselves admission in the most preferred government colleges and for SC/ ST/ OBC categories, getting marks around 350-450 marks is ideal.Under this list, opportunity for reserved category is average to get admission in institutes recognised under government of India or average to good for private colleges with 360+ marks. MCAT stands for Medical College Admissions test, which is generally required by all the US Medical schools. Harvard Medical School also has a requirement for the same.HMS does not require NEET as a part of their admission process. Although an average minimum score of 520.19 is required in MCAT exam taken by an Indian student. In Odisha, admission in B.Sc Nursing is generally offered through OJEE, while PG in Nursing is usually entrance test through OJEE, though certain private nursing colleges take examination answer key of NEET into consideration for admission. If you have qualified for NEET, you can vie for an opportunity to join specific private colleges that offer an opportunity based on your performance in the NEET exam. But in the case of government colleges, perhaps NEET won't be quite as decisive and the OJEE rank would be more influential.
