You may be able to gain admission to a government MBBS college if you fall into the OBC category and have a NEET score of 503, but this will depend on the state in which you are applying. In general, especially for more well-known states, the cutoff scores for government medical colleges can be rather high. In states with lower cutoffs or in certain private medical colleges subject to government quotas, your score may be competitive. To determine your chances more precisely, it is imperative that you review the specific cutoff patterns for various states and universities.

If your General category NEET 2024 score falls between 570 and 590, you stand a good probability of being admitted to a government BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) college. Though they differ by state and college, the cutoffs for government BAMS colleges typically lie within this range. It is important to take part in the state counselling procedure because the final cutoff might be influenced by competition levels and seat availability. Watch the official counselling websites for information regarding trends in cutoff times.

You have a good probability of getting into Andhra Pradesh's BAMS programme (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) if your NEET 2024 score is 288 and you fall into the SC category. You benefit from the fact that SC category cutoffs are usually lower than those for the general category. The level of competition, however, changes annually and is mostly determined by the college cutoffs and seat availability. Engaging in the state counselling programme is advised, as is looking at all of your possibilities, including public and private Ayurvedic universities.

Your chances of being chosen for a state quota seat at Government Doon Medical College (GDMC) Dehradun in the Mop-Up round are good if your NEET 2024 score is roughly 610. Following the main counselling rounds, which frequently have somewhat lower cutoffs, mop-up rounds are held to fill any open seats. The competition is still fierce because GDMC is a well-known government medical college, but your score puts you in a good position. In order to guarantee prompt participation in the Mop-Up round, it is important to keep an eye on the official Uttarakhand counselling updates.

Depending on the state's cutoff trends, you stand a good possibility of obtaining an MBBS seat through the home state quota with a NEET score of 599, especially at government medical colleges. In many government and private medical institutes, you are likely to meet the cutoff in states like West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, and Maharashtra. Your prospects are also better for the All India Quota (AIQ), although the cutoffs are usually higher and the competition is fiercer. It is necessary to engage in the state and AIQ counselling processes.

You stand a good chance of obtaining a state quota seat in a West Bengal private medical college if your NEET score is 556. Since state quota cutoffs are typically lower than those of government universities, there's a good chance your score would satisfy the requirements. It's important that you take part in the West Bengal NEET counselling procedure, where you can choose the colleges of your choice. Due to higher cutoffs, it may be difficult to gain admission to a Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) programme in government colleges if you scored 150 on the NEET and are an OBC. Private Ayurvedic colleges, particularly those in states with lower cutoffs or with management quota seats, may provide you a chance. Engaging in counselling rounds and looking into universities offering flexible cutoff ranges for your category are crucial.
