Obtaining a spot in a semi-government medical institution with a NEET score of 450 can be difficult, but not impossible. Admissions prospects are determined by the cutoff trends, which are determined annually by the exam's difficulty, the volume of applications, and the number of seats available. Colleges with semi-government policies typically have higher cutoffs. Some states have lower cutoffs for their candidates, therefore it's important to look into state quota choices and engage in the counselling process. Additionally, take into account private medical schools, where there may be a little less fierce rivalry.

In India, entrance to the Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) programme is contingent upon passing the National Eligibility and Entrance Test, or NEET. The Dental Council of India (DCI) established the NEET as a national requirement to guarantee consistency in dental education throughout the nation, and students who do not meet this requirement cannot be admitted to BDS programs. Consequently, in order to pursue a BDS degree, passing NEET is mandatory.

No, NEET is not typically required for pursuing a BSc Nursing course abroad. Admission criteria for Nursing courses in other countries usually focus on academic qualifications, English language proficiency (often through exams like IELTS or TOEFL), and sometimes an entrance exam specific to the institution or country. However, requirements can vary significantly depending on the country and university.

Although states were permitted to host their own entrances using an ordinance in 2016, NEET has been made mandatory going forward.Candidates still need to pass NEET even if they wish to study BDS abroad. NEET is essentially a qualification exam for future healthcare professionals in India.
