No, the NEET exam is not a mandatory entrance examination for BASLP Admission. The eligibility criteria for BASLP is that the student should have completed 10+2 with a minimum 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Students who belong to SC/ST/OBC require a minimum of 45% in the 12th standard.

Ideally it is recommended that a candidate should score between 518 to 450 NEET marks for seeking admission to MBBS institutes in the state of Karnataka. Government colleges generally accept students with a good cutoff score as competition is high there.

Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) releases the cutoff for Karnataka NEET counselling for government and private colleges for the year 2024 for Round-1 counselling. Karnataka NEET 2024 counselling is being held for the allotment of 85 per cent of state quota seats. Karnataka NEET cutoff for 15% AIQ seats will be published by the MCC.
