The NEET UG (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Undergraduate courses) is the entrance examination conducted in India for admission to undergraduate medical programs, such as MBBS and BDS. The minimum score required to get admission to a good medical college can vary each year based on factors such as the difficulty level of the exam, the number of available seats, and the overall performance of the candidates. However, historically, the cutoff scores for admission to top medical colleges in India have been relatively high. In general, a higher NEET UG score increases your chances of securing a seat in a reputable medical colle

In general, a score of 600+ is considered to be good for NEET which will ensure a high rank. However, given the high level of competition, if you wish to get admission to one of the top 10 colleges, then you must score above 700. But if you wish to get an MBBS seat and any of the decent medical colleges in India, then a score of 600+ is required. At the same time, a score of 550 or above may also fetch you an MBBS seat at a medical college towards the end of the counselling rounds. On the other hand, if you are aspiring to pursue a BDS or a B.Sc. Nursing, then a score above 500 should be able to fetch you a seat at a good Dental or Nur

The medium of instruction for NEET exam is available in various languages, including Marathi. However, the choice of exam center depends on availability and the discretion of the National Testing Agency NTA the governing body for NEET. While filling the NEET application form, you will have the option to choose your preferred language for the question paper. Once you select Marathi as the medium, you can then choose your preferred exam center from the list of available centers provided by the NTA. Yes, AIIMS and JIPMER conduct admissions on the basis of NEET result or scores. After the implementation of the NMC ACT NEET is the sole entrance examination for admission to UG medical courses in India. Earlier, AIIMS and JIPMER used to conduct their own entrance exams which were scrapped in 2020. The admission to these institutes will be done through the counselling process conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) under the 15 per cent All India Quota (AIQ) seats.

NEET scorecard is an individual document which carries information regarding candidates' obtained scores, percentiles and ranks. On the other hand, merit list is a common document which consists of the list of test takers along with their scores and ranks. Both the documents are prepared by NTA the exam conducting body. The NEET scorecard is issued only to candidates who can download it by logging in through their registration credentials and nobody else can access it. NEET merit list, on the other hand, is released publicly and includes the All India Rank list of candidates along with their obtained scores, percentiles and state.
