Eligibility for Career in Optometry, Required Qualification for Optician, The students who has clear 10+2 or equivalent examination, with a minimum of 50% marks in physics, chemistry and biology are eligible for Optometry. In order to practice as an Optometrist, the candidate has to take Bachelor's degree in Optometry.

How much did you score in 12th doesn't matter here. You need to clear the entrance exam conducted by NIFT in January. You should apply for the same.

Manav Bharti University has taken all the required approval from the respective regulatory bodies for the conduct of professional courses.

Clemson University in South Carolina has a good reputation. I will not say that it is cheap. It is less expensive, when compared to the top business schools. Southeast Missouri State University is also good.

NIOS is a recognised board in India just like other boards but whether it is valid for studies in Nepal, you have to find out by checking with colleges in Nepal. Every college has its own criteria.
