Yes, as per your qualification you are eligible to appear in the UGC NET exam under Sociology or Management. I have written or because as per the NTA guidelines a candidate can appear in the exam for 1 subject only in one session. You are prohibited to fill two forms at a time. But there are certain other criteria also which you need to fulfil to appear in the exam is your age limit. If you are applying for the JRF the, your age must not be more than 30 years of age. There is no age limit to appear for the post of an Assistant Professor. After meeting all the required criteria you can also fill the UGC NET application form from the official website of the NTA. CSIR NET have set certain rules for the candidates who wants to appear in the CSIR Net exam. As per the guidelines those candidates who have completed their Master's degree or graduation of 4 years are eligible to appear in the exam in the subject in which they have completed their degree or with the related subject. You have completed your BE or engineering you are eligible to appear in the CSIR NET Mathematical Science. There is other rule mentioned by the CSIR which says, candidates who have completed their 4 year graduation is only eligible to appear for the JRF (Junior Research Fellowship). Candidate must have a Master's degree or in the qualifying year with minimum 55% (For General/OBC) or 50% (For SC/ST/PwD) of marks without rounding off. For CSIR NET Junior Research Fellowship, they also have to fulfill the age criteria I. e. as follow -
For General - 30 Years Maximum Age
