Yes, you can apply for the UGC NET Management exam if you have a Masters degree in the field of Management which means you can select management as the subject for paper 2. You also have to give paper 1 which is common for all subjects and is mainly based on teaching, research, mathematical aptitude and reasoning. Coming to the eligibility, there are certain educational qualification and age limit criteria you need to fulfil in order to appear for the exam such as, 55% marks in master's degree, 30 years of age for JRF (general category).

No, you can't apply for UGC NET exam with a PGDM. You should be having a master's degree (Post graduation degree) in Management or other relevant field with minimum of 55% aggregate marks secured to be eligible for UGC NET exam.

Hello Brijesh, The minimum eligibility to apply for UGC NET exam is post graduation degree with minimum 55% marks from UGC recognised universities for general category candidates. The UGC NET exam is organized twice a year for selection of lecturer and junior research fellow in national institutes and universities. The UGC NET and CSIR NET exam conducted for the same purpose. The basic difference is that the Science stream candidates can apply for CSIR NET while arts, commerce, and other stream candidates can apply for UGC NET exam. Yes you are eligible for UGC NET. The Master degree obtained through the distance mode are valid for UGC NET exam. There is no upper age limit for applying Assistant Professor. The eligibility criteria of UGC NET 2020 is given below.
