Hello, If you have completed Masters in the Computer Science you can appear in the NET Exam. The NET Exam is mainly conducted in the month of June and December usually. The Exam was held recently on 8th July, now its time for the UGC NET Exam to be held in the month of December. The NET Exam is going to held in the month of December 2018. The Expected dates are from 2nd of December

GATE is a national level examination which is considered a tough nut to crack. Students take on various study methods while preparing for the examination. Some of the preparation methods have been listed out to give that extra boost to the candidates. Make sure you know your syllabus before starting off with any studies, it is important for the candidates to know their syllabus. Candidates should check their official syllabus of Mechanical Engineering (ME). Early preparation is the key for success. The earlier the candidates start their preparation, the better it is. This will give the candidates time to study all of the topics properly with additional time for revision. Check all important study materials while preparing, the candidates should use all of the important books and study materials. By preparing using the books, the candidates will be have higher chances of doing well in the examination. Candidates who have secured at least 55% marks (without rounding off) in Masters Degree or equivalent examination from universities/institutions recognised by UGC (on the website: https://www.ugc.ac.in/oldpdf/consolidatedlistofalluniversities.Pdf) in humanities (including languages) and social science, computer science and applications, electronic sciencE, etc. (list of subjects of post-graduation attached at page No. 20) are eligible for this test.
The Other Backward Classes (OBC) belonging to non-creamy layer/scheduled caste (SC)/Scheduled Tribe (ST)/ persons with disability (PwD) category candidates who have secured at least 50% marks (without rounding off) in Masters degree or equivalent examination are eligible for this Test.

As you have completed your Masters in Organic Chemistry, I will suggest you to go with CSIR NET Chemical Science subject. The basic objective is to determine eligibility for college & university level lectureship and for award of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) for Indian nationals in order to ensure minimum standards for the entrants in the teaching profession and research. On behalf of UGC, the Central Board of Secondary Education holds National Eligibility Test NET for determining the eligibility of Indian nationals for the Eligibility for Assistant Professor only or Junior Research Fellowship & Eligibility for Assistant Professor Both in Indian universities and colleges.

In order to notch up the top scores in UGC NET Exam for Education, you should first focus on qualifying the General Aptitude Paper (Paper-1) which is common for all the subjects. General Aptitude Section can benefit you with total 100 marks so don't take this section lightly. For a systematic approach to cover up this section -
1. You can list up all the Important Topics for Aptitude Section and start preparing by taking all the topics one by one.
2. It is better to create quick notes containing the short tricks and formulas to solve QA questions so that you can revise them faster.
3. Using shortcuts while solving the questions is the smartest way to attempt maximum questions in minimum time.
4. Spend max 2 hours a day on QA section and save 30 minutes to revise the studied data.
