Hello Reddysekhar,
The UGC NET and CSIR NET exam are held to determine the eligibility for assistant professor posts in university & colleges. The major difference between UGC NET and CSIR NET is that CSIR NET exam is held for Science stream candidates while UGC NET exam is held for other stream candidates. The minimum eligibility to apply for the UGC NET Exam is that you must have post-graduation degree with more than 55% marks from recognized university. The candidates are allowed to apply for their post-graduation subjects only.

Hello Rajni,
Yes, you can apply for CSIR NET Exam, if you fulfill the eligibility criteria for the exam. The CSIR NET exam is organized for the selection of candidates for assistant professor posts in the university or colleges. The candidates must have post-graduation degree with more than 55% marks from the recognized university. The graduate or final year candidates in post-graduation can also apply for the exam, however, they will get the certificate after completion of the course.

Hello Goutam, National Eligibility Test (NET) is a national level exam meant for scrutinizing the expert of the knowledge required for holding the position of Lecturers/professors/ associates/ research fellows at India's reputed universities. Earlier CBSE conducted the NET exam but from December 2018 it is conducted by the National Testing Agency. UGC NET exam is conducted in approximately 81 subjects. Hello Basu,
The UGC NET 2018 Exam has been conducted from 18th December to 22nd December 2018. After completing the exam, aspirants who appeared in the exam must be seeking for the UGC NET result and the cut-off. The UGC NET Result has been released on 5th January 2019 and official cut-off has been also released by the NTA on 7th January 2019. Here I'm sharing the cutoff marks for OBC Category in UGC NET Education Dec 2018 exam according to the NTA official website
For JRF & Assistant Professor - 58.00
For Assistant Professor only - 49.33

There is a minimum criteria for Qualifying the UGC NET Exam that a student must have minimum 40 % marks in the UGC NET Paper 1 as well as Paper 2. For Reserved CAT. Candidates the criteria is 35 % marks. Also, the cutoff mars for the subjects to qualify for the exam is different. There are more than 80 subjects in UGC NET Exam and each subject has different qualifying criteria. So, you must check out the Cutoff marks also for checking the eligibility further.

Hello Ashvini,The UGC NET was successfully held from 18th December to 22nd December and the result has been declared for the exam. The NTA conducted UGC NET exam in different cities. The UGC NET Dec Exam was held for 85 subjects and the cutoff marks for each exam is different. The NTA has released the result and cut off marks for the UGC NET December exam.
To check your result visit the official website and click on the View Result- UGC NET December Link. Insert your application number and date of birth, security pin and submit. Your result will appear on screen which you can download or take a print out for further use. As you did not

Hello,The National Testing Agency has conducted the UGC NET Dec 2018 Exam from 18th December to 22nd December 2018. Total 956837 candidates had applied for this exam and only 681930 appeared for both the exam. The total number of qualified candidates in UGC NET Dec 2018 Exam are 47884 from which 44001 are qualified for Assistant Professor and 3883 candidates qualified for JRF & Eligible for Assistant Professor both.
