There are some criteria in education field, if you are done with your Master's degree, then surely you are eligible for work as assistant professor in some private colleges. But, when you are clear competitive exams like NET/SLET, you are eligible to work as an assistant professor in private and Government College, depends upon it's vacancy and work experience. After clearing NET with some years of work experience, you are eligible for assistant professor in government colleges. Ph.D is mandatory for professor level. All the Best for your future.

As you related to Science stream, so CSIR NET exam is the better option for you on the place of UGC NET exam. As per the CSIR NET exam guidelines you can apply for the exam in your post-graduation subject or related to that subject. According to your qualification, you can appear for the CSIR NET Chemical Science exam, if you have minimum 55% aggregate marks in M.Pharma. Reserved category candidates get the 5% relaxation in the aggregate marks. If you want to apply for the CSIR NET JRF exam, then your age must not be exceed 28 years. UGC NET Exam is conducted for the Lectureship and Research programme whereas he exam is conducted every year in the month of June and December month. You can prepare for this exam but the eligibility to appear in this exam is completing Post graduation in any subject with atleast 55 % marks. (50% marks for the reserved candidates). The candidates in the final year/sem can appear in the National Eligibility test-https://www.eduncle.com/cbse-ugc-net-exam if they are waiting for the results to be announced. There is no age limit to appear in the UGC NET Exam.

Yes, as per the UGC norms, it is mandatory to qualify the NET exam to be eligible for lectureship in university or colleges, The NET exam is held for determination for assistant professor, for junior research fellowship and to pursue Ph.D. To be eligible for NET exam, you must fulfill all eligibility criteria for the exam. You must have completed the post-graduation degree with more than 55% marks. The age must be below 30 year for NET JRF, while no age limit for NET Lectureship. Yes, you can apply for the UGC NET Exam in relevant subjects. The UGC NET Exam is held for the lectureship, JRF and to pursue Ph.D.
The minimum eligibility to apply for NET exam is post graduation degree from recognized university with more than 55% marks for general category.
If you have score more than 55% score in PG you can apply for the NET exam.
As you have completed PG in nursing, you can apply for UGC NET social medicine and community health. After qualifying NET exam, you can apply for Ph.D, JRF or assistant professor posts in the university.
