Hi Deep, Candidates who have secured at least 55% marks in their Master's degree exams (in streams such as Humanities, Social Science, Electronic Science, Computer Science & Applications, etc. ). From a UGC recognised college/ university fulfill UGC NET 2018 eligibility criteria. One has to find a vacancy and apply. Then go through all the set tests or interviews. Remember that UGC NET is the first and basic requirement to become an assistant professor. Qualifying the UGC NET is never a guarantee to become an assistant professor. One has to find, apply and win the job.

MBA makes you eligible for management subjects in UGC NET or JRF. A Master's degree is the minimum qualification for appearing in UGC NET. To join the teaching field as an Assistant Professor, you need to clear the exam. Specialisation does not matter in NET. It will make you score well in that part of the study but basic need is just an MBA.

UGC NET is held twice a year for the selection of assistant professor, JRF awards and to pursue the Ph.D. The best way to prepare for this national level test is to solve the questions.

Hello, The UGC NET Exam is conducted in more than 80 subjects. Whereas the Exam pattern is same for all the subjects. The UGC NET Exam is conducted in two phases. UGC NET Paper 1 and Paper 2. UGC NET Paper 1 is conducted in the General Aptitude Test whereas the UGC NET Paper 2 is conducted in the Subject you have completed the Masters programme. The UGC NET exam is a national level exam which is conducted twice a year for the selection of assistant professor in the university and colleges, to pursue the Ph.D. and for junior research fellowship award. The candidates are allowed to apply for the subject of their post graduation and its related subject. As uou have completed the M.Sc. In education you may apply for the UGC NET Education.
