In terms of CRL ranking, at 316,315 in JEE Mains, admission to DTU or NSUT will not be probable. For B.Tech programs in DTU, the closing ranks generally vary from around 12,000 to 30,000, which varies from the branch and category. In the case of NSUT also, the cutoff is quite competitive and generally varies in the same range. Hence, your rank is not qualified enough for these colleges to seek admission in those colleges through the JAC Delhi counseling process. So, look for other colleges or alternatives for engineering courses.

To apply for admission in BTech at NSUT, applicants must qualify in JEE Main and have to undergo the Joint Admission Counseling process, Delhi. Such candidates will be required to register for JAC Delhi, fill up their choices, and go through the seat allocation process as per their rank in JEE Main. On allotment of seat, student has to go through the process of document verification and pay relevant fee for confirmation of admission. Please check on NSUT website for more details and updates.

If you don't secure admission at NSUT, consider improving your entrance exam scores or exploring other colleges with similar programs. You may also explore lateral entry options, postgraduate courses, or certificate programs. Staying focused on your career goals will help you find alternative paths to success.

For most programmes such as BTech and MTech, entrance exams are necessary at NSUT. Some postgraduate and Diploma courses do provide admission purely on merit in the qualifying examination. Always check specific requirements for your course by visiting the NSUT website.

Lateral entry admissions are done on merit in the respective Diploma examinations. The DASA scheme under SAT scores can also be used to apply by international students. Admission to the NSUT is granted on entrance exam, considering the students' performance in entrance tests like JEE Main, for B.Tech admissions, and GATE tests for M.Tech admissions. Students need to register by counseling conducted by the respective authorities including JoSAA or Delhi CET. The merit list is prepared on the performance in the exams and further choices submitted during counseling. Detailed guidelines exist on the official website of NSUT.
