India's two most esteemed engineering institutes are Delhi Technological University (DTU) and National School of Engineering (NSUT). As to the web material, a candidate's JEE Mains general category rank must be less than 10,000 in order to be admitted and guaranteed a seat at DTU. In other words, your JEE Mains score needs to be at least higher than the 99.2 percentile. Your percentile for the top branches of NSUT should be 98+. The percentage, however, changes based on the courses selected. In 2023, the closing rank for the NSUT East Campus B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering (IOT) was 9676, and the closing rank for the B.Tech

A state-level institution, Netaji Subhas institution of Technology (NSUT) was earlier known as Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology (NSIT). NSIT was founded in 1983 and granted university status in 2018, which means that it is now a non-affiliating university. It was formerly connected to the University of Delhi. By NIRF 2021, NSUT is ranked 88th for BTech. The AICTE, UGC, and NAAC have all approved NSIT Delhi. Thirteen departments make up NSIT, and they provide eleven undergraduate, fifteen graduate, and eleven doctorate programmes in diverse fields like computer and electrical engineering. With an OBC rank of 64,000 and a Common Rank List (CRL) rank of 190,576, it is highly unlikely that you will get admission to Netaji Subhas University of Technology (NSUT) or Delhi Technological University (DTU).The cutoff ranks for NSUT and DTU are generally much lower than your rank. For example, the last year's closing rank for DTU was around 10,000 for the Computer Science branch. Similarly, the cutoff rank for NSUT is usually below 20,000. However, you may have a chance to get admission in the spot rounds if there are any vacant seats available after the first round of counseling. But this is not guaranteed and depends on var

It is difficult to definitively say whether you can get into DTU or NSIT (NSUT) with a 60 percentile in JEE Mains (assuming you are referring to the General-EWS category) because the cutoff ranks fluctuate every year. Generally Competitive: Getting admitted to DTU and NSIT, especially for the most sought-after branches like Computer Science Engineering or Electronics and Communication Engineering, is competitive with a 60 percentile in the General-EWS category. Factors Affecting Cutoffs: The cut-off ranks depend on several factors including:Number of applicantsDifficulty level of the JEE Mains exam that yearAvailability of se

DTU excels in fundamental subjects like Mechanical, Electrical, and Civil; in software branches like COE/IT and even ECE. With its 160-acre exquisitely built campus and first-rate facilities, DTU has the best infrastructure by far. While NSIT has IT labs for ECE students, DTU's campus amenities are superior overall. Given its long history, DTU Mechanical Engineering is a great option. The department is excellent in all areas, including buildings, professors, infrastructure, labs, placements, and reputation. In terms of curriculum and placements, the branch is easily comparable to the ME branches of BITS and IITs. So, DTU is better
