With defense quota, you'll get non-technical branches such as instrumentation, manufacturing and automation , Control engineering being from outside Delhi.
If you are from Delhi, you'll likely to get either BIOTECH , CIVIL or MECHANICAL in second or third round.
Best of luck.

B.Tech admission with DTU is done through online counseling. Counseling shall be organized by college for candidate who are short-listed through screening process on basis of JEE Main marks. Minimum 60 percent marks aggregate is must in 12th. Age should be between 17-25. The cutoffs for DTU in JEE Mains varies for each branch. For premium branches like Computer Science, cutoff closes at AIR 8992, for mechanical it is AIR 21183, for electronic it is AIR17125, for software engineering it is AIR 13394.

Hi, without any quota you have slim chances of getting this college as you have scored less marks. You can use this link to find out which colleges you can get from these marks. This is Shiksha's official college predictor tool based on previous years data. Hope this helps. All the best.

You can go to South if you get top NITS. NITS in South are far more better than NSIT, Delhi. I am also studying in South from North. So I know there will be some problem at starting but South Indians are very good in nature. They will help you whenever you need them. Also, there is a good environment. So don't hesitate to go to South India.

Sorry to say but you can't get admission in either NSIT or DTU. Your rank is not sufficient for admission. Also your 12th marks are not good.

In my personal view, I would prefer NIIT university over all these universities, for the below mentioned reasons. One of the added bonus is that of the NIIT legacy, belonging to the IT background, NIIT proves to be a strong backbone for NU. It has been in the software development and IT for the past few decades. Course structure
NU B Tech in Computer Science with emphasis on Digital Transformation Technologies, is mainly focused on building a strong foundation in mathematical and algorithmic concepts. It has a strong industry linkage to make students industry-ready. The course is well defined and well executed as well. Even if you didn

DTU and NSIT are highly reputed for civil engineering. This score is not enough to get admission in DTU or NSIT. They usually prefer students with 75% and above in 12th and more than 100 marks in JEE in case of SC category.

Hello,
Rather than falling for the name of the college, I would suggest you to chase your passion. Go for that branch where you find your interest, because only in that branch, you will give your 100%. PIE is the lower preferred branch in DTU. But some colleges of IPU stood out excellent for CSE.
