All the 1st & 2nd generation IITs, top 10 NITs, BITS, DTU, NSIT, NSUT are tier-1 Engineering colleges. COEP (and VJTI) is top notch state level college but not tier 1. It is tier-2 Engineering College since except Placements and Alumini Network all other aspects are not at par with tier-1 colleges. A
