According to the Times Higher Education Ranking (THE), UNLV is placed at #601-800 in 2024. In the previous year too, the university was placed at the same position. This shows that the university has maintained the same position in 2024 too. In the case of U.S. News & World Report, national universities category ranking, the university ranks at #269 position in 2024.

Yes, UNLV accepts Duolingo test scores for both UG and PG courses. Other ELP test scores that are accepted are IELTS / PTE / TOEFL. The University of Nevada, Las Vegas application fee is USD 95 (Around INR 8,000). Graduate applicants can submit the application fee via credit card or check / money order. Whereas, the UG applicants can submit the application fee via debit card / credit card. The application documents that have to be submitted are academic transcripts, English language proficiency score, standardized test scores (as applicable), letters of recommendation, etc.

Yes, the University of Nevada, Las Vegas offers scholarships to international students. For UG international students, UNLV Signature scholarship is offered. This is an academic merit scholarship. To be considered for this scholarship, students must be admitted to UNLV and submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or Alternate Need form by the priority deadline. The University of New Mexico SAT requirement is optional. However, if the applicant wants to submit they can. Submitting a strong SAT can add value to the portfolio of the prospective applicant. However, if the student is submitting the university expects a minimum SAT total score of 1130.
