Majority of the programs offered by the New York Institute of Technology are taught in English . If you are an international student whose first language is not English then you are required to prove proficiency in the English language. The university accepts all the major English language test scores as proof of proficiency. The minimum English language requirements for international students are such that IELTS (6.0), TOEFL (79), PTE (53), and DET (105). .

To get into the New York Institute of Technology international students are required to meet certain admission requirements. The admission requirements will depend on the type of course and level of study. However, the general admission requirements for international students is:
Application form
Bachelors degree
SAT or ACT (not required)
ELTS/TOEFL

Hi Aryan,
I think you did not go through the university website properly as all the information is clearly mentioned on the website. NYIT offer BS in ECE and mechanical engineering, there is no B.Tech abroad, the program page mentions the SAT score is required. For international students whose first language is not English, you must take TOEFL exam. This is what they say 'If you graduated from a US high school or with a four-year Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited United States institution, then you do not need to take the TOEFL, IELTS or PTE exam. '
