NYIT is not a university but an institute. Usually, people prefer university education. However, if your grades are not very high or in case finances, time are issues, its not a bad idea to look at NYIT. It has global presence as campuses are located at various places. Yes, it is a private global university and has campuses in many places like Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates; Nanjing, China; and Vancouver, Canada. I have heard good reviews about it, however, you need fist contact the college and inquire about the career assistance, internship opportunities, etc. they provide.

I think you did not go through the university website properly as all the information is clearly mentioned on the website. NYIT offer BS in ECE and mechanical engineering, there is no B.Tech abroad, the program page mentions the SAT score is required. For international students whose first language is not English, you must take TOEFL exam. This is what they say 'If you graduated from a US high school or with a four-year Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited United States institution, then you do not need to take the TOEFL, IELTS or PTE exam. '
