Some of the tips for students starting their first-semester at the New York University are:Students who applied for New York University must be humble and should interact with as many people as possible. Mainly beacause, the more people you talk to the better knowledge you get. Attend as many gathering and parties as much as you can. Applicants should avoid missing classess, as 70% of learning comes from students going to classes. Students can get invovlved with extracuricular activities, i.e joing university clubs, sports etc. This will also look good on a portfolio in the longer run.

Yes, you can apply to the MS programme at New York University Tandon School of Engineering without work experience. To get in, you need a good undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or higher. While GRE scores are recommended for all applicants and required for full-time study, work experience is not a necessity. Acceptance rates are low and admission process is competitive. It taking into account your grades, test scores, essays, and recommendation letters. So, although work experience isn't a must, other applicants who have work experience may have an edge over you.
