Australia and New Zealand both are top destinations for International students. There are a lot of similarities in both the universities. Australia and New Zealand both have universities that are consistently ranked among the top universities in the world. However, Australia has more number of universities that New Zealand. However, considering the size and population of New Zealand the existing universities are enough. Also, It is relatively cheaper to study in New Zealand than in Australia. So, both the countries have their cons and pros, the best country for an international student should be the one that best suits their needs.

Yes, it is possible to study in New Zealand without IELTS. The New Zealand Immigration Authority conducts an interview with the applicant to assess their level of English proficiency before approving the study visa. Students can fulfill one of several requirements to be exempt from taking the IELTS. Such as having studied in an English-medium school from grades 8 to 12. There are also universities in New Zealand that allow students to study without IELTS scores, including Ph.D. programs.
