Jamia Millia Islamia cutoff 2023 has seen an increasing trend over the last two years for the closing ranks have almost doubled. JMI offers admission to BTech through JEE Main scores. So going as per the last year trend, one can expected JMI cutoff to go down the next year. After the email validation, log in by entering the credentials on the admission portal to start filling out the application form. Moreover, ensure that the email ID provided during the registration is active till the admission process conclusion. The university sends all the updates related to admissions on the registered phone number and email ID.

On December 28, 2022, NMC announced the guidelines for the National Exit Test (NExT), including information on eligibility, exam structure, and scoring system. The NMC NExT exam, a single-window exit test for MBBS students seeking a licence to practise Medicine in India, will most likely be administered by AIIMS Delhi. The NeXT Exam is conducted in two separate segments knows as ‘Steps’ in the online mode. The NExT Step 1 is a theoretical examination consisting of six papers. NExT Step 2 is a Practical / Clinical and Viva Voce examination covering seven clinical subjects or disciplines. The qualifying cutoff marks in NExT Step 1 will be calculated as whole number which will be considered as a Raw Scores with appropriate decimals and subsequently corresponding Percentages. The minimum marks for passing in NeXT are 50% or half of the maximum possible Raw for NExT Step 1.

The National Exit Test is now the licentiate exam as well as the national medical postgraduate exam that is mandatory for the students/MBBS aspirants to pass in order to get a “Dr” tag with their name.Said exam was introduced by the central government of India in the National Medical Commission Bill 2019. NExT exam will be held in two steps. NExT Step 1, the theory based exam will be held in computer-based mode, while NExT Step 2 will be conducted in offline mode. NExT Step 2 will test practical/clinical knowledge of candidates. AIIMS will release NExT exam attern along with the official information brochure. As per the available details, there will be six paper in NExT Step 1. The exam will be held for three days in two shifts. Candidates who qualify NExT Step and mandatory 1-year internship can appear for NExT Step 2 which will be held by respective state authorities.

According to official release, candidates will have to score minimum 50% marks or half the maximum possible raw scores to qualify NExT Step 1. In each of six papers, candidates will have to score 50% marks to get it through. Candidates are unhappy with the decision and requested National Medical commission to reduce the qualifying criteria. There are also reports of students staging protest for NExT qualifying criteria. NExT score will be valid for five years. candidates who want to reappear in NExT Step 1 for improvemnet of marks, in that case the previous score will not be valid and new score will be considered.

NExT syllabus has been released with new National Exit Test Regulations 2023. NExT Step 1 syllabus comprises six subjects while NExT Step 2 includes seven subjects. NExT Step 1, theory exam will be held in computer-based mode while NexT Step 2 will be held in offline mode. Total six papers will be held in two shifts for NExT Step 1.
