NICMAR University, Pune Admission Process

The university offers BBA, BTech, BArch at the UG level. According to that, the students need to meet the pre-defined educational qualifications. To know more on the NICMAR University admission criteria for UG courses students can check the points mentioned below:For UG courses- Valid scores of UGAT / IPMAT (IIM Indore) / CUET UG will be measured as an alternate for UG-NCAT for the BBA/BBA (Hons)/Integrated MBA programme. For BTech Civil Engineering course, valid scores of JEE / MH CET / PERA / CUET UG / Other States CET will be deliberated as another for UG-NCAT. For candidates appearing in NCAT & another additional entrance exam (as mentioned above), the highest score between these exams will be considered to create the final merit list. The selection of candidates is done based on the merit list mentioned above. Admission offer letters are issued in the order of merit.For BArch course- The candidates will be scrutinised and eligibility is established based on the documents submitted. Applicants should Qualify for the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) or JEE Paper 2 (NTA). Students are required to appear for a Counselling Session at NICMAR University, Pune. The admission will be based on the candidate’s NATA score or JEE Paper 2 (50% weightage) and exam score of the Class 12 examination or Graduation Diploma examination (50% weightage).

To get admission into NICMAR Pune, there is a combination of entrance exam, academic performance, work experience (for some programs), and an interview required.Candidates first need to achieve a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in the graduation (45% for reserved categories). Final year students can apply, but must complete their degree before programme commencement.Then there's a need to take the NICMAR Common Admission Test (NCAT) conducted by the university.
