Well, the top companies like L&T, deloitte, kpmg etc are choosy about the people they hire and keep stringent filters in there of marks and performance, you may not get shortlisted them. The other companies should not cause issues with the marks as long as you satisfy their selection criteria. ACM has a good chance of placement as it is the flagship programme. Good luck.

Read up your B.Tech basics. Prepare at least one subject to the best of your ability as the professors may ask you, "What subject have you prepared?" so, then, give them the prepared subject and be happy.
Other than that, being updated with the current happenings around the world would be of immense advantage to you. Good luck!

The subjects are mentioned in the prospectus. The course material varies from teacher to teacher and shall be provided to you during the classes. Enjoy, for the time being.

Hey Viswa, I ll be honest with you.
ACM at Pune is the best. I would want you to have a look at the placement page in the official website, www.nicmar.ac.in . there in the summer internship column, you ll see, that more than 50 companies have visited for a student strength of less than 200 in goa. This is a sign that they must be doing something right, right? As of now, all that shall matter is how much exposure you shall be getting. Pune is the best, the rest should also not be doubted on just because they are new.
Good luck :)

Not entirely true. The process keeps on varying with changes in the market conditions and placement committee. Ample opportunity for a person to get placed is provided. In my honest opinion, how the placement works and how many chances being provided, are the details a prospective student doesn't need to be bothered with. If you study enough, and do your bit, you ll be placed, simple as that.

It is difficult to speak in a course specific manner, but what I can say is approximately 80 percent of the Ifdm batch is expected up be placed by Feb end. For further details, you may have a look at the placement brochure on the website: www.nicmar.ac.in

Compare both in terms of placements and then take the call. I am not knowledgeable about the college you are refferig to in comparison.
NICMAR is established to meet the demands and need of the CRIP market by the market leaders themselves. The courses are not plain management, but rather techno management where you shall have to retain your btech knowledge and add more to it.

Not to be rude Devanshu, if you have been careless enough to miss dates of admission and forget dates of payment, I believe you are not really intersted in coming over to NICMAR. If you are indeed interested still, then call up the admission cell and ask them for guidance. You can find the details in the website www.NICMAR.ac.in
