The university admit candidates to its BTech in Civil Engineering course on entrance score basis. Aspirants who have passed Class 12 with at least 45% aggregate (40% aggregate, in case of Backward class categories, Economically Weaker Section and Persons with Disability candidates) can apply. NICMAR application form can be filled out in online mode. For the offline applications, candidates can contact the admission office. The university has reserved seats for candidates belonging to SC/ST/EWS and other such categories. About 40% of the total seat intake is reserved for the domicile of Maharashtra state. In the seventh and eighth semester of NICMAR Pune BTech course, students have to select preferred electives and perform the project work. The students have to select elective from the given basket of courses and open electives. Along with this, a project has to be completed to understand the practicalities of the subject.
