Yes, the correction window will open in the NID application form where you can edit your SOP questions. The correction window for the NID DAT 2025 application form will be available from December 6 to December 11, 2024. In this time, you can login to your registered account on the official website of NID and make any necessary corrections by editing the SOP questions. Although some of the details such as the name, date of birth, and the registered email ID cannot be changed after submission, make sure to verify them before submitting again.

The B.Des DAT Mains Studio Test will be conducted from April 26 to May 4, 2025.The details pertaining to the exam center reporting time, registration time, and exam timings, etc. were mentioned on the admit card. Note that the M.Des DAT Mains 2025 exam will be conducted from March 3 - April 6, 2025. DAT Prelims comprises a Studio Test for the B.Des program. Yes, the National Institute of Design (NID) will conduct physical document verification for candidates who have been selected for admission.The document verification process for the M.Des programme will be conduted in June 2025. The schedule for the B.Des programme hasn’t been announced yet. It will be announced later by the respective NIDs.Venue for the verification process - The NIDs will conduct the verification at their respective campuses.

Yes, all B.Des candidates who were shortlisted for NID DAT 2024 counseling had to summit their campus preferences. The window to submit campus preferences was open from May 21 (4 pm) to May 23 (4 pm). The preferences had to be entered in the order of priority. Note that the allotment of seats to the B.Des programme will be based on the campus option selected and merit rank of the candidate in NID DAT 2024. So, one must bear caution when entering their preferences.

The provisional offer letters for the NID DAT 2025 counseling will be issued separately for the B.Des and M.Des courses. The offer letters for the 1st round of counseling for B.Des will be released around the 2nd week of June 2025.To download the offer letter, follow these steps:Go to the NID admission portalClick on the Provisional Offer Letter linkA log-in window will openEnter your log-in credentialsOn successful log-in, you can download the Offer Letter.The candidate need to produce the offer letter at the time of admission.

The National Institute of Design (NID) will release the provisional offer letter for the M.Des program in May 2025. The allotment letter will be issued to all candidates who have been allotted seats, paid the seat-acceptance fee, and uploaded their documents. The offer letter has to be download online from the NID admission portal - admissions.nid.edu. The candidate has to produce the letter when reporting for admission. The issue of offer letter for any subsequent rounds of seat allotment will be notified later.

The National Institute of Design (NID) will release the provisional offer letter for B.Des candidates for Round I around the 2nd week of June 2025. Prior to that the institute will announce seat allotment results for Round I around the last week of May 2025.The candidate will have to download the offer letter online from the NID admission portal. The offer letter has to be produced by the candidate when reporting for admission.Note that the offer letter will only be issued if the candidate has duly paid the seat-acceptance fee and uploaded the relevant documents.

There is no negative marking in NID DAT 2025 exam. The candidate is recommended to go through the detailed exam pattern to get insights into the question paper structure, including types of questions asked, sections, etc. The DAT Prelims exam for the B. Des programme has two parts. Part I will include 22 objective-type questions, whereas Part II will include 4 subjective-type questions. Objective-type questions carry 1-2 marks, while subjective-type questions carry 15-20 marks. The total marks for the NID DAT Prelims will be 100 marks.
