The Studio Test and Personal Interview for the M.Des programme will be conducted sometime starting March 2025. Candidates will be shortlisted for the Studio Test and Interview based on their performance in DAT Prelims. The Studio Test will be conducted in offline mode at various NID campuses. Eligible candidates have to get registered at the test centre. The Studio Test will start at around 9 am, followed by the Interview. It is mandatory for candidates to appear in both the Studio Test and the Interview. If any candidate skips the interview, he or she will not be considered for admission to the B.Des or M.Des course.

The National Institute of Design will release schedule for NID DAT 2025 counseling on its admission portal soon after DAT Mains results are declared.Eligible candidates seeking admission to the B.Des program has to submit campus preferences.The 1st round of seat allotment for B.Des program will be announed around the last week of May 2025. No, once the candidate pays the token fee, the Institute will not refund it under any circumstances. So, the candidate must pay the seat acceptance or token fee if they have finalized their admission. Also, note that the token fees have to be paid by the candidate only if he or she has been allocated a seat. Also, if the candidate fails to pay the token fees, the seat allocation will be cancelled. These vacant seats will then be filled in the next counselling round.

The National Institute of Design (NID) conducted the counseling registration for NID that 2023 for the B.Des program from May 19-22, 2023. B.Des candidates who were shortlisted for counseling had to submit campus preferences as part of the registration process. The campus entry must be in the order of priority,. The minimum qualifying criteria for NID 2025 is the minimum marks the candidate needs to secure for admission. The category-wise cut-off would be released at the time of counseling and seat allotment. The cut-off would be prepared by considering factors like the total number of applicants, the merit ranks of applicants in NID DAT 2025, seat intake for the applied programme, etc. Note that if the seat allotment for NID that is conducted in multiple rounds, then a separate cut-off would be prepared for each round. And candidates who meet the cut-off criteria for that round will get admission.

NID cutoff is the minimum score that candidates need to obtain in order to be considered for admissions to a design course. The participating institutes of NIDs offer B. Des and M.Des courses. The cut-off would be released category-wise for each of these programs. Also, the cut-off would be released separately for all the coaching institutes. Only such candidates who meet the cut-off criteria would be considered for admission.

The NID that 2023 exam is conducted for admission to B. Des and M.Des courses. The NID that Mains results for the B. Des programme will be announced on May 18, 2023. Meanwhile, that Mains results for the M.Des programme will be announced on May 16, 2023. The results of NID that 2023 Mains will be declared online at admissions. Nid. Edu. Once the admit card is released, pleas for change in the exam center is not entertained. Considering the NID that 2023 Studio Test admit cards are available now, exam officials will not entertain any requests for change in the exam center. So, what ever exam centre the candidate has been allocated, the candidate must appear in the exam from that centre. The details of the exam centre allocated to the candidate will be mentioned in the NID that 2023 admit card. On exam day, the candidate needs to arrive at the exam centre with a valid id proof and the admit card.

The National Institute of Design will conduct the Studio Test for the B. Des program between April 26 and May 4, 2025. Meanwhile, the Studio Test and Interview for the M.Des will be held from March 3 to April 6, 2025. On the day of DAT Mains, the candidate needs to report at the exam centre on time.For instance, the Studio Test for the M.Des programme commences at 9 am, but candidates need to get registered from 8 am onward.
