Yes, if you belong to any reserve category, then it is necessary to upload the required category Certificate. The documents have to be uploaded at the time of filling out the NID that application form. Note that candidates trying to use counterfeit document may be disqualified at any stage of the admission process if caught. The NID DAT 2025 counseling will also have a document verification process. The counseling process for the B. Des programme will commence soon after results are declared.

The NID DAT 2025 Mains exam for B. Des will comprise a Studio Test. The Studio Test will be conducted in offline mode. The candidate will be given the option to select test centre before the test. Test centres will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. DAT Mains exam for the B. Des programme will be conducted in April 2025. Meanwhile, DAT Mains for the M.Des programme will comprise a Studio Test and an Online Interview. The Studio Test will be conducted on offline mode, while the Personal Interview will be conducted online.

The seat intake for the B. Des course through NID Entrance Exam is 425. For M.Des course, 347 seats are available for admission at NID campuses. Apart from this number, some seats are also reserved for overseas (supernumerary) candidates. Admission to the B. Des programme at the NIDs will be on the basis of NID that 2023 merit rank and college option opted by the candidate. Meanwhile, M.Des candidates aren't required to select colleges.

NID 2023 that Prelims is the 1st round of the two-step NID admission process. NID that Prelims comprises a written exam that candidates need to clear in order to be eligible for NID that Mains. Candidates seeking admission to the B. Des and M. Des courses need to appear in the Creative Ability Test (CAT) and General Ability Test (GAT). However, B. F. Tech, M. F. Tech, and M. F. M applicants only need to appear in the General Ability Test. NID 2023 candidates can also check the that Prelims sample paper here.

The results of that Prelims for the M.Des programme were declared on February 28, while results for the B. Des programme were annoucned on March 16, 2023. The results have been declared online at the NID admission portal. To check their results, the candidate needs to log-in to the portal using their email id and date of birth. Candidates who have qualified in the that Prelims exam are eligible to appear in that Mains. Note that the final results of NID that 2023 will be prepared by giving weightage to that Prelims and that Mains.

Eligibility Criteria for National Institute of Design (NID) exam: Applications for the academic year 2022-23 are open to candidates who have passed or will appear for higher secondary (10+2) qualifying examinations in the academic year 2021-22 in any stream (Science, Arts, Commerce, Humanities, etc. ). From any recognised board of education such as CBSE, IB, ICSE or equivalent board. I hope this will help you.

Yes, you can pursue the M.Des course at NID on the basis of 4 years GDPD courses. GDPD course is a Diploma level course. While B. Des is an Undergraduate level degree course. The eligibility criteria and course duration are the same for both courses. Fee structure is also a big difference between the both of courses. The fee details of both of courses are given below.
1. B. Des Course fee : Rs 1207800 (Excluding hostel charges)
2. GDPD Course fee : Rs 953200 (NID Andhra Pradesh) Excluding hostel charges.

Hello!
The applicants must have passed the qualifying examination I.e. 10+2 level or an equivalent examination from any recognised board in the year 2019or will be appearing for the same in the year 2019. Students from all streams are eligible to apply. Those who appeared in the examination before 2018 are not eligible for UCEED 2019. All the best.
