NID in itself is a highly reputed organisation and I believe if you step into any organisation to work as a graphic designer won't fetch you a growth rate faster enough to showcase your talent as experienced in an institute like NID because the industry is currently undergoing a bit of its recession period. Therefore, it would be really best that you step into NID course first and avail a wonderful job opportunity without having wasted your time to cope up with present IT circumstances.

After class 12th, you can pursue Interior designing, graphic designing, fashion designing or jewelry designing. Any designing course need creativity and dedication.

You will have to appear for entrance exams conducted by both NID and NIFT separately. Only after you pass the exam, you are allowed to take admission the institutes.

For (Design Aptitude Test), there isn't much that you can do. Firstly, and most importantly, you should have an aptitude for design. NID papers are designed in such a way that only those who have a creative side will be able to clear it. The question paper is a mix of creativity, logical thinking and general knowledge. You need to be aware of the latest happenings in the world. Cramming up yearbooks won't help you, seriously. Instead make a habit of reading the newspaper every day.
