NID Entrance Exam

On August 3, 2023, the conducting authority published the NID DAT Cut Off 2023 on its official website. The percentile of most recent applicants accepted into the B.Des/M.Des programmes at various NID campuses is the NID DAT 2023 cut off. The DAT cut off is usually given separately at each level of the NID 2023 selection process. The NID DAT 2023 deadline for the B.Des and M.Des programmes has been made public by the National Institute of Design. The cut-off for each participating institute's programme would be made available category-by-category. The first design school to be designated as a "Institution of National Importance" by an Act passed by the Indian Parliament is the National Institute of Design (NID). The NID Entrance Exam is considered among the toughest design entrance exam conducted in the country. Successful candidates in DAT Prelims proceed to the DAT Mains exam. For B.Des, this stage involves a Studio Test, while M.Des applicants undergo both a Studio Test and a Personal Interview, the latter being conducted online, in contrast to the offline mode of the Studio Test for both programs.

However, as a general guideline, candidates should aim for a score of 75% or above in both the DAT Prelims and DAT Mains to increase their chances of selection.

It is possible to get into NID Jorhat with a 56 percentile. Because there are many chances as the cut off for each year  varies due to many factors. But, you can get into NID Jorhat with 60% in the NID Entrance exam. While receiving a 60% on the NID Entrance Test (DAT) puts a candidate in a position and admission to NID Jorhat is dependent on a number of dynamic factors.The likelihood of being accepted into the selected program, each applicant's level of competition during the assessment phase, and their performance in the ensuing studio exam and interview phases all play a role in this.A fundamental part of the entire selection process is the NID Entrance Test (DAT).
