NID Entrance Exam

Eligibility Criteria for National Institute of Design (NID) exam: Applications for the academic year 2022-23 are open to candidates who have passed or will appear for higher secondary (10+2) qualifying examinations in the academic year 2021-22 in any stream (Science, Arts, Commerce, Humanities, etc. ). From any recognised board of education such as CBSE, IB, ICSE or equivalent board. I hope this will help you.

Subjects prescribed for NID that prelims entrance exam include colour terminology, design development, theme and colour interrelationship, design theory, elements and principles of design, theme development, visual logic, memory drawing, exercises on imagination, and doodling, lettering, presentation techniques, picture analysis, story pictures, usage of colour and composition, natural and geometric form, use of measurements, scale and proportions, expression and emotions, Foreshortening and perspective. It's a 3 hours exam with 180 questions to be solved. +1 for every correct answer. Type of questions are MCQs. Syllabus include Maths GK, English Science and logical and analytical reasoning.
