Try going for a Diploma in graphics, and then pursue Bachelor's degree may be. In this way, your time won't get wasted if you didn't qualify. And try again.

Hi Ajay!
The registration date for NID Entrance Exam has already passed. It was in October for all the UG and PG courses offered by the institute. Also, there is no specific course for painting at NID.

Hi Pushpa, You can appear for NID entrance in 2019 as the entrance test has already taken place for 2018 batch. Also, for NID, you should know that your age should be maximum 20 years while applying for a UG course. NIFT is also a premium college for design courses but again, you cannot appear for 2018 batch as you have missed the entrance exam. Maximum age to be eligible for NIFT is 23 years. So, you still have a chance to apply for the UG course next year. Also, I would suggest you to check the PGD courses in design rather than pursuing another UG course.

No, it is not compulsory to take up Science in class 12. She can take up any of the streams in Class 12 (Arts, commerce, or Science). She should take up arts, as that will be better suited to her future designs. For admission to NID, there is an entrance exam which she will need to clear, and also needs to clear her class 12 examinations successfully. Regards.

Hi Ameya,
You should have a minimum score of 50 percent at least to be eligible to apply for admission in the premium design colleges. Rest, the admission majorly depends on your performance in the entrance exam which is a 2 stage test: General ability test and creative ability test.
