NIE Institute of Technology

The NIE Institute of Technology conducts multiple rounds of counseling for admission. Specifically, for the TNEA 2023, four rounds of online counseling will take place according to the established timetable and there will be a total of three rounds of counseling and seat allocation conducted by the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test. Additionally, candidates are required to go through the counseling rounds of the respective entrance exams they have appeared for.

Both the VVCE Mysore and NIEIT Mysore College are well known for their placements. The highest package offered at VVCE Mysore in 2022 stood at INR 33.30 LPA. On the other hand, the highest package offered at NIEIT in 2022 stood at INR 43.50 LPA. According to the official website, a total of 3,126 students were placed in 2022 at NIEIT. Whereas, the participating recruiters offered 904 job offers to the students of the batch 2023 during Vidyavardhaka College of Engineering placements 2022.

The institute has a placement cell that interacts with more than 200 reputed organizations for arranging campus interviews for the final year BE/Mtech/MCA/PhD students. The placement highlights for the academic year 2021-22 include the highest package of 43.18 LPA and visits from over 450 companies, including 260 IT companies and 150 core companies.Nearly 85% of students got placed last year. The highest package offered was 10 LPA, and the average package offered was 3.5 LPA by companies such as HCL, TCS, Infosys, Epsilon etc.
