There is an option for the candidates to opt to write the answers (the descriptive portion only) in Hindi or English. The choice should be indicated therein. If the choice is not given, then the choice of English medium will be assumed. However, question papers would continue to be in English only.

There is no specific number as such. However, at each level, a candidate needs to complete the papers within the stipulated period. At NIELIT O/A/B/C levels, candidates can appear in any paper, in any order, if the subject has been covered by the institution running the accredited course and as mentioned on the application form. Candidates can directly appear in examinations if they satisfy the eligibility criteria as applicable to them.

No, a candidate has to login again and fill out the online examination application form again. There is no provision for saving the information if, for any reason, a candidate is logged out. Before filling out a NIELIT application form, candidates should be ready with the following:A valid registration numberPersonal Email ID of the candidate, not of the institute, for validations and future correspondence.Personal mobile number of the candidate, not of the institute, for validations and future correspondence.Clearly scanned the latest passport-size photograph, signature, and LTI (Left Thumb Impression); all in jpeg format, size limite

Yes, it is compulsory to fill out the Online Examination Application Form (OEAF). There is no provision for offline or physical forms. Here to note is that the Physical Examination Application Form has been discontinued from the July 2013 Examination onwards.

As we know, the NIELIT Examination Centres are spread all over the country. A list of the examination centres will be available once a candidate applies for the examination form online. It is to be remembered that before filling out the Online Application Form (OEAF), the candidate needs to update his or her profile. The authority released the NIELIT 2024 January cycle admit card for O/A/B/C level at student.nielit.gov.in. The NIELIT 2024 January cycle exam was started from January 13 to 20, 2024. A timetable containing details including dates of examination, examination timing or session, sequence of papers, and instructions to candidates is also published along with the admit cards. The NIELIT introduced a Scholarship Scheme for SC/ST/Physically Handicapped and female students pursuing NIELIT (DOEACC) O/A/B/C level courses w.e.f. January 2003 examinations.
