NIELIT Kolkata admission is open throughout the year for enrolment of short-term courses. Admission to non-formal courses is based on NIELIT Entrance Exam. The NIELIT 2024 theory exam for O/A/B/C levels is scheduled to be conducted on Aug 3, 2024, to Aug 7, 2024. The admissions are open throughout the year for short-term courses. The admission cycle of July ends by October.

NIELIT Information Technology at NIELIT, Kolkata accepts entrance based and merit based admission system. If you want to take admission in this institution then you need to qualify the NIELIT Entrance examination and candidates must qualify Class 12th Examination from any Recognised Board.

The average salary package of NIELIT, Kolkata varies between INR 3.5L - INR 4.8 L Per Annum and the highest salary package offered is INR 6 Lacs Per Annum and the lowest salary package is around INR 2 LPA . Overall, the placement record is not so good . According to the previous placement reports and feedbacks from the previous students we can say, 40-50 % students get placed every year through the placement cell or the campus placement opportunities .
